Successful short listed candidates of the Professor Andrew Nok Poetry prize were invited to the Creativity Court of yasmin El-Rufai Foundation (YELF) for a three days intensive Poetry Workshop. The workshop commenced on the 30th of August through the 1st of September, 2019.

Under the supervision of the Creative Writing program (CWP), well renowned poets in persons of “Daisy Odey and Shittu Fowora” were invited to instruct and mentor these young poets.

These poets took advantage of the workshop’s timeline collision with YELF literary Evening to be a part of the proceedings for the month of August, 2019. They took center stage to delive to her audience some mind blowing poetries. On the third day of the workshop, certificates were awarded to participants of the workshop as they wait for the upcoming KABAFEST Event.
