Sabeeh Hassain (Soul Unraveled) is a medical doctor and a writer. She is 24 years old, biracial and speaks four languages. Having started writing at a very young age, she never taught what she did was anything special until friends, family and teachers took notice. She started to post works on Instagram in 2015. After posting about 500 poems on social media, she did a poetry exhibition which turned out to be a huge success. She compiled and published her book “Soul Unraveled rising from the Ashes” in 2017. Which is available for purchase worldwide.

The book is themed after the mythical bird; Phoenix, that is said to be reborn from the ashes after being burnt to the ground. She is known for her brutal honesty and raw poetry. Her work has been criticized and praised by many. Claimed to be “shaking up the norms”
Her work touches on topics ranging from mental illness, women empowerment, violence against women and children, sexual abuse, racism and even politics.
She has glanced multiple stages as a spoken word artist and a motivational speaker. She posts Monday motivational videos and spoken words Sunday videos weekly. She has been interviewed multiple times by newspaper agencies and blogs.

She recently started an organization in collaboration with another female poet to teach young children and adults creative writing, to encourage the written art. She does writing challenges on Instagram to help push people to develop a writing habit.

She is a member of multiple NGOs, and attends community outreaches to extend free healthcare to the less privileged population.

She annually does a fundraiser “make a child smile this eid” to raise money to make new clothes for orphans, almajiri and other underprivileged children that have never had the pleasure of new clothes in their lived. Sabeeha is now working on two books, at the same time working on her medical career.
